Breaking Down Your Opponent
Breaking down is the skill of using both knowledge and technique to control your opponent’s position, by learning how to manipulate his body, balance and natural weakness. In this seminar we’ll cover dynamic striking, off-balancing points on a body and what you can to put them exactly where you want him. We’ll work on kicks, knees, hand strikes, and applying your center (ki), which will allow you to move your opponent, breakdown his balance as you apply continued damage techniques, chokes, locks to render the attacker passive. This seminar will focus on strategically applying of your martial skills.
Requirement: Beginner to Advanced students welcome, please bring your foam hands and head gear, knee pads.
Tanto Jutsu (Combative Knife Application)
Learn the Art of drawing, cutting with a knife... we will also address; blocks, throws, cutting patterns, carries... though presented in a traditonal format, this will transition into a wide range of practical applications. Ideal for anyone that is interested in edged weapon application, this seminar is ideal for beginners to advanced students. Subject matter deals with the traditional application of an edged weapon and you should understand the seriousess associated with this topic and that the subject matter may be considered offensive by some. All attendees assume personal responsible for their use and actions of the information they will learn.
The systematic application of a edged weapon, this will cover target selection, drawing, cutting, blocking and throwing...it will also introduce weapons retention techniques, this class is open to all levels. (training knives will be provided to be used during the seminar)
