About this instructor:

Dave Guccione is a 5th Dan and has been with ZDK since 1983. He is the Sensei of the Canton ZDK and has competed in the finals of NCAA National Karate Championships.  He has been a practitioner and trainer in law enforcement for over 40 years. He was a police officer and field training officer in St. Louis Missouri.  He is a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War where he began martial arts training in 1969.  He is Professor Emeritus of Criminal Justice at SUNY Canton and still teaches in the St. Lawrence County Police Academy.
